Terms of Service

By accessing or using SimplWrestling, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of them, please stop using the site.

SimplWrestling is operated independently. It is not affiliated with CIF, any CIF section, any school or club, or any results provider.

Browsing records and looking up an individual wrestler does not require an account. Some features do. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure.

Accounts are for individual use. Sharing an account, or sharing paid access with people who have not purchased it, is not permitted.

Paid access is sold as a season pass: a payment that unlocks the full leaderboard, the Following tab, and Seeding for one specified season. A pass applies only to the season it was bought for. Past seasons remain free to view.

Where an auto-renewing option is offered, it renews each season until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time before the next renewal.

Prices are shown at checkout and may change between seasons. A price change never affects a pass you have already bought. Introductory pricing may be offered; the price shown at checkout is the price charged. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not receive or store your full card details.

A share of every season pass is set aside for the wrestling community. The beneficiary and the share are published when passes go on sale.

Full refund on request within 14 days of purchase (or of a renewal charge). A refund ends access and reverses the giveback share; giveback is sent only after that window.

Because the archive is continually being expanded and corrected, the absence of a particular tournament or result at the time of purchase is not on its own grounds for a refund. If coverage matters to your decision, check before you buy and ask us.

Results are compiled from published tournament data and from information supplied by event operators. We work to keep them accurate and we review reported errors, but we do not warrant that any record, rating, or ranking is complete or free of error.

Ratings and rankings on this site are informational. They are not official standings and they do not determine eligibility, seeding, or qualification for any event. Governing bodies and tournament directors decide those.

If something is wrong, report it. Reports are read and assessed by hand. We cannot commit to changing any particular record — sources conflict, and some disputes come down to a judgment call we may decide differently than you would.

You agree not to:

• scrape, bulk-download, or systematically extract data from the site, or attempt to reconstruct a full leaderboard from individual lookups
• resell, redistribute, or republish the data as a competing product
• circumvent paid access, rate limits, or any other technical restriction
• interfere with the operation of the site or the accounts of other users
• submit false correction reports or otherwise attempt to manipulate a rating
• harass, abuse, threaten, or demean any wrestler, coach, parent, official, or member of our team, in anything you send us or in conduct connected to this site
• use the records, ratings, or rankings published here to bully, humiliate, or pressure a wrestler — most of whom are minors
• publish private information about a wrestler or their family beyond what appears on a published bracket

The last three are set out in full in our Code of Conduct, which forms part of these terms.

We may suspend or terminate access for a violation of these terms, without refund where the violation is deliberate. Threats, conduct targeting a minor, publishing private information, and repeat violations after a warning result in immediate and permanent termination. Where someone is threatened or a minor is targeted, we may report the matter to their school, the relevant governing body, or law enforcement.

The site, its design, and the compiled database, ratings, and rankings are the property of SimplWrestling. Underlying factual results — who wrestled whom, and who won — are facts and are not claimed as our property.

You may link to any page here freely, and you may share individual wrestler cards and results.

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SimplWrestling is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the site is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

We may update these terms. When we do, the effective date above changes. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in California.
