Every wrestler starts each season at 1,000. What moves it from there:
- match points for each varsity win and loss, weighted by the gap in rating
- a bonus for beating a ranked or previously-proven opponent
- the best postseason finish of the season
- a seed carried in from an earlier postseason, where there is one
- an occasional correction by us, with the reason recorded
Nothing else. No polls, no votes, no committee. Read the whole formula →
